Following last week’s working meeting, Zack Fink of NY1 reports that the Public Campaign Financing Commission is currently considering further lowering the contribution limit previously proposed for gubernatorial candidates and will likely adopt an in-district only match on only small contributions of $250 or less. There is reported agreement among Commissioners on raising a threshold for party ballot access, although the number of required votes has yet to be determined.
